My design for the 40th running of the Skagit Flats Marathon provided an opportunity to design for silk screen printing, as well as dimensional metal casting. Three medals were designed for this event: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5-Mile events. The overall designs remained the same, with differences being the distance text, metal color (gold, silver, bronze), and the lanyard colors and text.

With my ability to visualize objects in 3D, I provided detailed specifics of areas that were to be high or low in the final casting, as well as textural recommendations. I was very pleased with the final results.
